We offer 3 different tours of the Heritage Trail. 2016 Season Prices and Description for each:
• Full 4-hour tour of the entire Island-wide MV Heritage Trail is $60 per person.
The complete tour includes each island town:
Edgartown, Oak Bluffs, Tisbury, West Tisbury, Aquinnah, Chilmark and Menemsha Village.
• Two and one half hour tour of Oak Bluffs and Edgartown sites $50.00.
• One and one half hour tour of the Oak Bluffs sites $35.00.
Children under the age of 12 free and students over 12 at 1/2 tour price.

Workshops for Teachers and community historians are available
from Dr. Elaine Cawley Weintraub, the research historian and co-founder
of the Trail. These workshops focus on using the Trail as a model
to demonstrate how every community has the resources and untapped
history to create a community history project. Ways of using archival
research, oral histories, and involving students as research assistants
to a community history venture are explained and the work of students
and community activists demonstrated. Dr. Cawley Weintraub provides
workshops for many of the colleges and universities of the Boston

American Heritage Trail are available, and individual members can
